Thirubuvanam is known for its high quality silk sarees produced by the skilled craftspersons of this weaving community. The skilled craftspersons of this community play major role for the success of many leading silk co-operative societies including Thico Silks, The Thirubuvanam silk handloom weaversco-operative society, the biggest co-operative society in Tamil Nadu.

The school has been successful in pursuading the weavers to send their children to school.The weavers have realized the importance of education. With their support, the school got developed as Matriculation school in 1996.

The school celebrated Silver Jubilee in the year 2011.

Our Students

We believe it is school's responsibility to mould the students "industry ready" with skills such as good Language fluency, Learn to learn with Computer and Internet, soft skills required at work place on top of strong subject knowledge.

Besides regular school programs, we offer many extra curricular activities for them to learn new skills and achieve a lot more in their life. We encourage them to participate in sports, blood donation compaign, vaccination campaign etc., Our students have achieved as top performers in scouts.

We conduct science exhibitions and invite nearby schools to participate. This gives opportunity for our students to colloborate with other school students.

We have Ramanujam mathematics club and our students can enroll as a member to participate in many of the mathematics forums conducted by the club.
